Wenatchee Valley YMCA Indoor Pools Installation features the Evacuator® Technology for Cleaner, Healthier, Family Friendly Air

Paddock Pool Equipment  is proud to be adding Evacuator technology to both family pools at Wenatchee Valley YMCA in Wenatchee, Washington. In collaboration with ALSC Architects, Water Technologies Inc., The Pool Company, and Trident Installation, Paddock Pool Equipment’s stainless steel gutter system, including Paddock’s industry-leading Evacuator® Technology and HDPE grating have been installed on this project.

Advanced Indoor Pool Gutter Systems

Both indoor pools will feature a Paddock Stainless Steel Gutter System, including the Evacuator® technology, engineered specifically for high-use aquatic environments like YMCAs, community centers, and family pools.

The Trident Installation Team completed the project efficiently,  working through challenging 90–100 degree temperatures, ensuring the pools were ready to support the YMCA’s wide range of aquatic programming. 

Cleaner Air with Evacuator® Technology

We are especially proud to add another indoor pool equipped with Evacuator® Technology, reinforcing our commitment to healthier indoor pool environments for families, children, and staff.

Evacuator® Technology is designed to minimize airborne nitrogen trichloride and other disinfectant by-products commonly found in indoor pools. These harmful gasses can irritate eyes, skin, and respiratory systems for any frequent pool users. This is especially common in pools that offer programs for younger children as this gas layer is often caused by mixing organics like sweat, oils, urine and chlorine.

By capturing and exhausting off-gassing fumes directly at the pool surface, Evacuator® in the gutter system removes these contaminants at their source. This not only creates healthier air quality for swimmers but reduces maintenance and increases longevity of the facility.

Pool safety comes in many forms—swim lessons, lifeguard training, and water education.
